Do I Wear Shoes for all the classes?
Great question! Please wear sturdy cross trainers, walking or running shoes to the Boot Camp, Cardio Strength Training, SHRED, and Body Sculpting classes. Please leave your shoes in our cubbie outside of the studio door for the Yoga, Pilates Flex and Tone and Barre classes.
I’m A Beginner, Is This Going To Be Too Hard?
We all start somewhere and we believe that showing up is the most important step to reaching your fitness goals. We also believe in cross-training. Cross Training is important to work your muscles in different ways to improve your fitness and help prevent injury. We offer many different types of classes for all your fitness needs. If you prefer low impact; our Yoga, Barre, Pilates Flex and Tone and Body Sculpting are a good fit. All our instructors show variations of every exercise in all our classes. If you listen to your body and do the variation that is best suited for where you are today, you will have a great workout without getting injured or feeling like you are taking on too much.
Boot Camp, SHRED and Cardio Strength Training are higher impact classes BUT again, can be modified for your fitness level.
Etiquette:
Please introduce yourself to the instructor. Find your spot and ask about what equipment you will need for the class. This is your time to unplug so please put your cell phone away and enjoy the freedom. Talking during class also takes away for other’s experience so please have your conversations before or after class while you enjoy your coffee!
Snow Policy
We will make every effort to keep the studio open even on snowy days, however, if we can not make it to the studio we will post the closing on our website and Facebook. If we are open and you are not able to make it to the studio, no worries, just email us and we will pop that class back into your account!
Stay safe 🙂
